If you already hold a MOHAP (federal) or DOH (Abu Dhabi) license and plan to practice in Dubai, you must obtain a DHA license. DHA does not automatically recognize other UAE licenses; you go through the DHA process, but conversion pathways can be simpler in some cases.

For MOHAP or DOH license holders, DHA may accept existing PSV or assessment outcomes where aligned with DHA requirements. You will still need to complete the DHA application, submit required documents, and meet DHA eligibility criteria. The exact steps depend on your specialty and how long you have held the other license.

We advise on the conversion pathway, document checklist, and timeline so you can plan your move to Dubai without a gap in practice.
